What Happens During the Rafting Experience in Montanejos?

Booking and Preparation

It’s essential to check availability and book in advance. Once your reservation is confirmed, we’ll send you all the necessary information for the day: where to meet, the schedule, and what to bring to fully enjoy this incredible aquatic adventure.

We’ll meet at our base in Montanejos, located at Partida Corral de Prats, 17, at the agreed time. Free and convenient parking is available.

We’ll provide all the necessary equipment and guide you on how to gear up. Once ready, you’ll be transported in our vans to the starting point of the river. For groups of fewer than 20 participants, the transfer from our facilities is included in the price. The transfer is a short 6-minute drive from our base.

Safety Briefing and Start of the Adventure

At the starting point, our professional guides will give you a safety briefing, explaining what to expect and how to enjoy the experience safely. You’ll also practice some techniques before entering the water.

The adventure begins at the embarkation point, near the water jet where the activity starts. You’ll board our rafts, which can accommodate up to 9 participants plus the guide. The descent typically lasts around 1 hour and 40 minutes, with the total experience (including preparation and return) taking approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes.

The Rafting Experience

The rafts are always guided by professional instructors, while you and your group will act as the crew, collaborating with the guides to navigate the river safely and enjoy the adventure.

At a certain point during the descent, you’ll step out of the raft to experience the power of whitewater firsthand. You’ll engage in activities similar to aquatic canyoning, including jumps and swimming, allowing you to enjoy a combined aquatic adventure that will surprise and thrill you.

All activities are completely optional, so you can choose what you feel comfortable with.

The route includes a path along the riverbank, where our safety team follows the group. This path allows any participant to exit the activity if needed. Our safety guides also take photos of your adventure and ensure your well-being from the riverbank.

• Sports shoes (that you don’t mind getting wet)
